On my way!

Okay …. The beginning of my journey eastward from Salt Lake City to Cincinnati. It’s a pilgrimage of 1664 miles over the next few days to visit my awesome grandchildren and their very special parents. It’s a visit that’s waaaaay overdue. This is a pic of a Chinese gazebo & garden in old town Evanston, Wyoming. More to come.

Showing off “Little Sunshine”

Here’s a bunch of photos of my “Little Sunshine”.  They were taken by the dealership (in Eugene, Oregon) using a very wide-angle camera, so they distort the images, making things a bit out-of-proportion and more spacious looking. It’s common practice with RV and automotive dealers. But they show off (or hint at) her features: Kitchen in back with sink,  2-burner stove (from Italy), pull-out refrigerator, counter and cabinets. Sleeping Quarters with comfy queen-size mattress, air conditioner, HDTV, DVD/AM/FM stereo sound system, high quality swing-out windows (from Germany) with 2-way shades, 3-speed/2-way Fantastic Fan in the ceiling, peek-a-boo round windows in Hobbit-style doors (both sides), underbed storage and cabinets. There’s a 5 gallon water supply onboard, 5 gallon propane tank and full-sized RV battery up front. There’s torsion bar suspension and she rides down the highway smooth and easy. She’s well insulated and well built — by Amish craftsmen in Sugarcreek, Ohio.   Awesome!!!   (Click on any image to enlarge it)

My New Teardrop Trailer

I recently purchased a new teardrop trailer. I’ve named her “Little Sunshine.” She’s kinda cute, and very well built!! She’s a T@G Max, made by Little Guy Teardrop Trailers: http://www.GoLittleGuy.com. She’s built by Amish craftsmen at the factory in Sugarcreek, Ohio.  I travel to my trade shows with her, towed behind my Toyota Tundra pickup. She’s very lightweight, so I can barely feel her behind me. She’s my “hotel room & kitchen on wheels”, which saves me a lot of $$$ while traveling.     (Click on image to enlarge it).
